I like the new design and hopefully this one thing I noticed will help make it feel a little tighter.
Pagination contains:
- back/forward arrows (ARROWS)
- numbers other than the current page (NUMBERS)
- number of the current page (CURRENT)
(yellow highlights to indicate "hitboxes")
It makes sense that CURRENT looks different from NUMBERS.
Unfortunately, the hitbox (gaming term for area of the mouse clicking on/next to object to still hit/click it) is vastly huger around CURRENT compared to NUMBERS.
This makes no sense, as the only purpose of hitting CURRENT is to refresh the page and hitting NUMBERS is much more likely what the viewer will want to do.
Pixel-hunting (precise aiming at) NUMBERS is quite annoying.
I suggest a white or invisible (or actually grey bg?) circle is added around NUMBERS, identical (or even larger). Maybe it will mouse-hover change color to indicate that click is possible too.
Just something I just noticed a minute ago.
Thanks, that makes sense! I’ll add to the list
