Hey there,

First of all fantastic work on the new UI! I know it couldn't have been easy, and I'm thankful this site is available for me to share my sounds out out there for other creators!

I have a few notes I'd like to share, I'll list them below.

1. The rating of the track is cut out depending on the length of the title when viewing a users sounds.

2. I actually can't view number of downloads per track anymore, Without clicking into them individually, which was a nice touch in the old ui to see how they are performing.

2. I'd love some sort of @User option in the comments, as when I reply to comments, I don't feel like the user has saw them, which in turn ends a lot of communication and interaction with each other.

3. When I comment on my own Sounds, I get an email saying a user commented, I always get excited and realise "Oh never mind it's just me".

Other than that, Im loving the UI and the new Total Downloads section, it's awesome and im so happy for that feature! While I got used to the old UI, I actually think this is a MASSIVE improvement, it makes the site so much more modern and attractive. The old site when I first arrived here made me concerned it was of low quality and was on its way out of commission. This new UI is fresh and fills me with hope! I hope the community continues to grow, keep up the good work guys!

Thanks a lot for your message, it has been a very long process and we're very happy that we finally released it. I'll answer to the specific points below:

The rating of the track is cut out depending on the length of the title when viewing a users sounds.

Can you share a screenshot of that issue? Even through we tested with all sorts of sounds with different title lengths and metadata, sometimes there are combinations which still produce display bugs.

I actually can't view number of downloads per track anymore, Without clicking into them individually, which was a nice touch in the old ui to see how they are performing.

Yeah, this is one of the things that was removed in the interest of "space" in the small players of the new UI. I've been thinking how to bring it back, but I have not figured out how. The same for the number of comments. Maybe this is something to look into with the designer and eventually we can bring it back. The code is all prepared for this.

Yes this has been also discussed and is in our list of things to do. It will be implemented eventually

I absolutely see what you mean, I had a glance myself and I really couldn't spot a clear answer that didn't hinder clarity or cause problems down the line.

This is just to mention that I've been looking at adding the number of downloads and number of comments in the grid sound displays and I managed to do it in a way which I think still looks good. When a sound has many downloads and many comments and also has a pack and geotag, then many icons appear, but it is still legible. In any case for the average sound I think it looks good enough to keep it.

I just checked that out on your profile and that looks really neat actually! I like it! I was wondering how you would achieve this, and once again outdone yourselves!

Perhaps if there are too many icons, there may be some that aren't necessary to show in that section? Im not sure which would and wouldn't be important for a users glance, but if there are any that would be better in the page of the sound, that could help... maybe the geotag one? I dont use it personally so im unsure if thats important or not. As an uploader or downloader, I wouldn't use that feature in searching or uploading, but it may have an importance for other users. Just my two cents, I know little about web/UI design
