Hi guys,
I've downloaded and used quite a few samples from this site, and I'd like to attribute them to their respective authors, but this page: http://www.freesound.org/usersAttribution.php?id=0&format=plain is totally blank for me... Any ideas?
Cheers, Paul.

Hi, thanks for the reply - I had seen that already, but I assumed it was no good because it doesn't give you the real names of the people who made the sounds, thus making the attribution impossible...
Also, if you are surprised by the number of people who ask this question, that suggests that its not clear how to do this, or the form is broken and needs fixing
Cheers, Paul.

Unless the uploader has specified clearly that you should attribute the sound to a different name than his/her username...(this is not very often) it is enough and correct to attribute to the username.

Yes,I guess so but how could it be easier?

Ok, seems a little odd but in lieu of anything else it will have to do

When I clicked on 'Attribution List' previously all I got was the header telling me I could get the list in htlm form. When I just tried now its working, so it must have got fixed

Have a look at this page: http://www.freesound.org/usersAttribution.php
It lists all the files you have downloaded in the past!
Please update that announcement in the FAQ to let people know that, once logged in, they need to click on their own username in the upper left. That takes them to the set of links you mention, including 'Files You Downloaded,' which is what everyone is really looking for.
Thanks! And thanks for a great sound resource!
