I am unable to play sounds of any kind on this website. I am using Safari. Anyone else have this problem?

I've had the problem as well. Running Chrome

did you install latest flash player. Opera works fine on my windows 7 system.

and -like klankbeeld says- make sure you have flash installed.

soon now you will be able to use freesound (at least play the sounds) without flash, but it's still going to take a while...

Hi,

same problem on two machines.

macbook pro with 10.6.8 Snow Leo and
Mac Pro with same System.

installed Flash version is 11,1,102,55.

tested in Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
Cache cleared several times.

Some days ago I reinstalled the whole system because of some driver problems with my blackmagic system.
completely new installation + updates and it doesn't work.

Any chance to do it?

No Play Buttons. Only white Space. Installed a windows 7 machine in VMware. Now its Running in Windows.

do you by any chance have flashblock or adblock installed?

checked:

- Shockwave was missing.. installed it. (Cleared Cache after installing)
- Safari in 64 bit/ 32bit
- Firefox
- Chrome
- all Adblocks disabled. Flashblock isnt instlled

not running on mac os, yet.

I wonder because sites like youtube, soundcloud, jamendo, etc. are still working.

Am I the only one with that kind of problem out there? ^^

could you try removing Adblocks for a second?
we've had users who complained about that!

Adblock fully removed. no chance to play the sounds. maybe I will use my virtual machine till its going to work.

dont know how to get/install flash
dont know what adblock is or what to do
