Anyone know why it takes less time to upload 50 files than it does to describe and tag 20? I just spent all morning trying to describe uploaded files and after 2 seperate windows crashed and I logged back in, there they sit undescribed... I don't understand, most sites take a long time to upload but once the file is on the host server, things should speed along. Is there something I am doing wrong?
I used to dare not try and describe any more than 3 files at a time when I had a slower connection long ago, when uploading 20 files took me an overnight period with a 50% chance of crash, timeout or error. Now, a couple years later, Bill Gates wants me to update my flash player again after windows ran the error reporting? I don't see what a flash player has to do with me wanting to type text into fields in a database... anyone?
For instance right now, I am trying to assign about 25 files to a new sample pack, the other window is completely frozen... I mean, it just shows remnants of other windows superimposed on it that I closed 15 minutes ago. Click on it and I get nothing, no hourglass or status bar moving to let me know if I should reboot yet again. Something is not right... I'll come back in an hour to check on the status but the computer is virtually useless while this mysterious computation or process runs. Maybe someone could suggest an easier way to describe uploaded files? It was working fine last time I uploaded files with very little hesitation after assigning the files to sample packs... maybe it's the sample pack creation itself that takes forever? Since every sound I uploaded is in one?
Update... found this devious, destructive and time consuming item:
230-Your bandwidth usage is restricted
Ok, this looks rather intentional to me... it is making a 30 minute upload and describe job and all day event... I started uploading when I left for breakfast... it is past lunch time I still am not done describing files... Someone know a way around this?
Ok, just when I was about to say, "oh it looks like things are better" wham...
Got a ton of errors this latest time like this...

Any idea what's going on? I cannot repost this stuff it took most of the day and night.
Yeah, cool, thanks. I didn't realize there were that many files in that upload.
