Well man, I don't really see the purpose of full songs on here. I use soundcloud.com and it works perfectly for me. It's free, you can listen to songs for free, and most of it is free to download, unless you want to make some money. It really wouldn't be under the category of freesound. Wouldn't you agree?
Just upload your music to Soundcloud if you want people to hear you full songs.
There is ccmixter, but that is only for remixes. We got the Freesound engine up and running. It shouldn't be too hard to install a new copy of the software into a sub folder on your domain and dedicate that copy for music. Heck if that was available 5 years ago then I would've uploaded way more stuff here. So +1 bilion for allowing songs!
I found an user asking about bandcamp.com. That reminded me: Yes! Bandcamp.com for music uploads also!
Check it out! It combines perfectly with soundcloud and facebook too.
CC licenses or all rights reserved, offer for free or let people decide what to pay or fix priced download offering!
For me:
Freesound.org for sounds (SFX and loops etc. that is for me, although music is sound, we wouldn't mean music if we say sounds).
Soundcloud for sharing music and sounds to present my work.
Bandcamp for selling or presenting finished music.
So, people, don't go to the bakery and ask for meat. Go to the butcher!
