Hello there. I'm a little new to freesound, but I noticed the other day something wasn't right.
I use Squarespace to host my website content, and I would like to embed some of my sounds in a blog, but the iframe code is not resolving properly, resulting in a blank space on my blog post. Does anyone have any ideas?
Your blog software probably prohibits iframe elements. If it's wordpress software and you have the rights to install plugins, you might be able to solve it using one of these: http://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/iframe
If it's something custom or you don't have the rights, best describe the issue in detail to your hosting service provider ( http://help.squarespace.com/customer/portal/emails/new )
So here's an update. I quickly scanned a couple of squarespace forum threads dealing with the same issue, and it looks like the answer is to use a code block, rather than an embed block. And it doesn't really show up until after you've posted and visit the real website. the code doesn't work in the preview.
Thanks qubodup for the tip! (it got me looking into the Squarespace forums a little closer!)
So have you solved your problem?
If not, your mention of "code block" allowed me to find this helpful-looking QA: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/6462/how-do-i-iframe-links-onto-a-page
