I/o error failed to upload

Hey, this is my fist time using this site for uploading clips of sound I have made. I'm trying to upload a file and every time I attempt to do so I get an I/O error. The file size is not exceeding the limit set on this site(about 5mb in wav and 887 kb in mp3) and it is a supported file type (I've tried in both mp3 and WAV files)but i continue to get the I/O error. I had seen a forum post with a similar problem and there was a suggestion to clear the browser cache. I have cleared my cache and still have had no luck with completing the upload. does anyone have an idea as to why I'm getting this error?
The flash upload may fail some times depending on many factors (flash version, browser, network ...). In those cases, try the plain html upload.
