Hello there!
I recently found freesound but every time I tried to register/login, I would get 403 errors and a bunch of guides that didn't work, as well as lots of broken links on freesound's part. When pages refuse to load, check the URL to make sure the ".org" is in the link, and when you run into the 403 exception, change the https to http, then reenter your information. This should be a fix for most people that couldn't login like me, as well as a notification the the devs to try and work this out.
Thanks.

Thanks - I couldn't work out what was wrong. Have been a user for quite a while and never had problems logging in before. Kept getting 403 error messages when I tried to login, tried to register as a new user or use the contact form to say there was a problem. Changing https to http solves the issue for me. Problem seems to affect multiple browsers. Hope the developers will sort quickly.
Hi everyone,
I can verify that this is a bug on our side that appeared after an upgrade we deployed last thursday.
This might affect all web forms in Freesound accessed through https (not only the login form).
We'll look into that tell you when it is fixed. In the meanwhile, please use the non-https login form.
Thank you for your understanding,
Perhaps this explains so much. I wasn't able to use my account for awhile either though that fixed itself somehow recently. I started using Midori instead of Firefox, then I could reply to messages and perform uploads properly.
Sorry, looks like we spoke too soon. There is still an error if you visit freesound with a www, as in https://www.freesound.org. We're fixing this problem now.
I am also having the same problem. Keeps saying page is not found when trying to download sounds :,(
I also got the 403 error message after trying to login today. When I navigated away and came back it showed that I actually was logged in??
Hi, the downloads thing was fixed, it was a temporary issue, thanks!
