From my home page:
FreeSound.org>Settings...
brings me to an editable table labeled "About:". Below is another table labeled "Forum signature:"...and beneath all of this is the caveat:
"To format your text you can use the following HTML tags.
a, img, strong, b, em, li, u, p, br, blockquote, code.
This formatting is supported for your about text and signature."
I have run across users who have successfully added remotely hosted images to this "About:" section. See:
http://www.freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/
I would like to do the same. I'm not completely unfamiliar with HTML. I've had success with this sort of thing in the past. However, it's not working for me here... in fact, the text I previously had in this table "Just Google Caalamus", has now disappeared.
I have an image host, via Flickr. But when I add the provided code to the "About:" section, no dice. Would anyone who has been successful in this pursuit be willing to lend some advice?
As you know, one can not type an example, as it will disappear. It's code Please use this:

You can write the code, then select File>Save to Cloud ...& post the link.
...& send me an example of the formatting you used.
Thanks very much for your time & consideration.
Hey,
ignore this post. I found the solution. It was weird.
I wasn't doing anything wrong. The problem was that the HTML changes I implemented weren't taking effect until I logged out & then back in.
The same issue occurred with this forum post. Otherwise I would've deleted it once I saw that my HTML issue was resolved. I assumed the post never went through.
I figue this post should be left so anyone encountering the same issues knows what to expect. Thanks for offering us cool features like this FreeSound. It's great being able to customize my profile a bit :]
