I have uploaded some .wav files but can't see the files in my additions...I saw ''Attention: your files will not be visible on the main page until they pass the moderation stage!'' this attention and was wondering the question i have wrote on the topic subject.

From my experience: about 1 day

Yeah... almost 3 days but i still can't see/reach the files...

had the same problem...they are usually faster than they have been...i uploaded a file about three or four days ago...I just re-submitted it thinking it had been overlooked or even rejected!

moderation is done by humans, so depending on availability of said humans, it goes slower or faster.

moderating right now...

you can help us by writing GOOD descriptions!

What Bram just said. If youre fairly new then it will take a bit longer. Not always. Once you get more stuff up, your uploads will go a bit faster being as youre trusted a bit more.

there is some element of truth to what LS said. we moderators know some names to be trust-worthy and some not-so...
there's also a whitelist of users whose files don't have to pass moderation, but there are very few on that list.

i've been here almost since day one. I think I know a bit about how this place is ran and how Bram and the mods work. I wasn't taking you out of context. I was giving you some insight. I really want to punk you right now...but I can see Bram rolling his eyes and telling me to stop.

In terms of being new to the Freesound website that states alot of truth to fact I would think. I remember when my stuff took a little while to upload and pass moderation and now sometimes (few though it goes pretty fast). The descriptions also make everything go by faster but if you are a newbie then you may need to wait in line.... l@t3r -
