Hello
i have a channel that show sound effects from this website license creative commons 0
Recently i make a video (Bath fill sound effect) :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFLzHbGaxSc
from this URL :
https://www.freesound.org/people/0XMUSEX0/sounds/168651/
Noticed it under license creative commons 0
I got a claim copyright from ( DeepMiningCorpAssoc ) and The song protected by copyright: Tropic Hall
I have to object to the claim copyright , but I received this email from youtube
After reviewing the dispute submitted, DeepMiningCorpAssoc decided that the claim for copyright is still valid.
Possible reasons for this procedure
Perhaps the copyright owner did not agree to the conflict presented by
May be the reason given on the dispute on the claim is inadequate or invalid.
what's the problem and what's the solutions please
and thank you
.Yacinknn
After taking a quick look on Google, it seems that a bunch of other people's videos got flagged by the same "supposed" copyright holder, usually when music was involved. So to me, it seems likely that "DeepMiningCorpAssoc" claimed copyright on that intro music you used, not the bath filling sound.
But before we can know for sure, let me ask you:
What was that musical extract you used as an introduction to your video?
Was that your own creation, or did you get that from elsewhere?
(Note: I am no lawyer, so don't take any of this stuff as legal fact).
bro thank you for reply
but i use introduction music by Audio Library of youtube , the name of music that is free to use : Eden , You can check it out : https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
search for Eden
the problem from sound effect not from music
It is extremely unlikely that they claimed copyright on your video due to the sound effect. The only way for that to be a true claim is if the uploaded sound effect was actually from elsewhere under a different license, and it somehow slipped through the moderation when being uploaded here (again, this is extremely unlikely).
But yes, you are also right with the song - that is free for you to use and no one can claim on that.
So it seems, after looking around on this a little more, that you are one of many unfortunate victims of YouTube's horrendous automated copyright system that allows anyone to make a claim instantly and with ease. "DeepMiningCorpAssoc" have a long history of claiming videos falsely (see comments on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I_2xJwCuWI), and it appears that you are one of their most recent victims.
I'm not entirely sure where you could go from here as I have no experience with YouTube's abhorrent copyright system, but you can try to fight back against the false claim (although I think you said you've already tried this). As much as I hate to suggest it, but you could also delete the video, although I would hate for the false claim to win this fight.
Perhaps YouTube will one day open their eyes to the plague that is their copyright system. (Well, I can dream, can't I?)
thank you brother
but i need solution now for this problem , because if there are no solutions, than the channel will be closed in futur , my channel of sound effects , I take sound effects from this website under license creative commons 0 , and put a link of original url in description of video.
i hope There will be a solution to the problems , else i stop my works, I do not want to tire so that all my work fade
i don't care for any of this.
you're a bottom feeding bit of flotsam, monetising other peoples stuff and complaining that someone is doing it do you. i'm enjoying the irony that someone else may have ripped off the sound to begin with.
Lots of greed, no creativity.
I'd credit you with attributing even for cc0, but the only reason you're doing that is to monetise thru the ad.ly url shortener.
parabolix, that is the best thing I've read all morning. very creative use of words to for a uniquely tailored pejorative in term, ha. made my day
