I recently uploaded some WAV audio files to freesound.
When I play them using the preview player, they sound less quality than the original ones (I think that the audio files lose high frequency content).
When I download them, the sound exactly like the original ones.
This is a problem because users might skip a great sound because it sounds low quality when played using the preview player.
Am I the only experiencing this problem?
The preview sound is 56k mp3
For me it is not a problem. It's a preview. This is a known item. This mp3 is here for years.
Great for mobile users

Actually, I always thought a small caption informing on the mp3ish nature of the preview would do no harm
