hidden file

very unhappy to find the sounds i need and download them only to find u have a hidden file that wont let me access them. trying to force me to buy them. this is shady and made me conclude this site is bogus and a hoax. I am very disappointed in this site!
Which sounds are doing that? Only certain audio file-types are allowed to be uploaded here, so other embedded files shouldn't be attached.
All of the sounds on this site are free with Creative Commons licenses:
-CC0 is completely free.
-CC by 3.0 simply requires attribution/credit if used.
-CC by NC 3.0 requires attribution/credit and cannot be used for commercial projects.
-Sampling+ is the same as CC by 3.0
I think a few times I have tried to check out a sound but it was set to hidden because a glitch we're it wasn't moderated yet. Not sure though. All sounds are free here.

They have all been WAV format, except the last one which is AIFF format, which may be the cause of his inability to play it.
tell me why i cant see them to move the files. my guru tells me its a hidden file to make me buy them. that bites. all of the ones i down loaded from u are doing it. so far nothing i see says to belive what you are saying.

If you can't remember where you've told your internet browser to put downloaded files,
search your computer for the name of the Freesound files or their creator, e.g. thanvannispen
Your guru is wrong marcus.
Hundreds of people download thousands of files every day and nobody else has seen this problem. If they had there would be hundreds of complaints on this forum.
Timbre's reply is worth checking out. There is something set on your computer or browser that's causing this problem. They are either being downloaded to somewhere on your hard disc where you can't find them, as Timbre suggests, or some setting or program on your system is blocking them from being downloaded. (Free/cheap/bogus download-managers or antivirus programs that are malware-in-disguise are a possibility. If you do get a demand for payment it's certainly a scam from a virus and payments are going to the scammers not to freesound.)
If you don't like freesound, you're not forced to use it. Find a different site that works for you that you do trust. I suggest caution though, there are many 'free' sites out there that are not what they seem. The only obligation you sign up to with freesound is that you agree to follow the copyright rules which are clearly stated for every sound.
