I just noticed that a sexually-explicit (blurred) sound posted in June 2018 has just appeared on the "Latest sounds", ( it's December 2018 )
It looks like the act of censoring the sound, posted six months ago, is putting it on the front page,
which is counterproductive.
Apparently blurring it causes it to be treated as new sound, and consequently puts it on the front page.
Ho there Timbre!
I believe this to be an occasional issue of "tardy users" that don't respond to moderation ticket queries for several months.
For example, in this case, the sound was uploaded in June. A moderator likely asked the user to give more information and/or update their sound. The user did not respond until today (several months later), by which the sound could now be approved.
And I've found that the "Latest sounds" preview on the main page shows the most recently approved sounds, rather than the most recently uploaded sounds by date, thus this June sound would appear on there as it was approved very recently.
(Funnily enough, clicking on "More" latest sounds will then bring up the most recently uploaded sounds by date, rather than approval - might need a continuity fix there!)

Ahh, that explains it.
I thought sexual sounds had slipped past the censor, and were being blurred retrospectively after they had been found/flagged.
[ Maybe blur by default any sounds with a title or tags which contain sexual-terms or other adult-words ].
