I really appreciate having the "__details_and_attribution.txt" file in the downloaded zips because it's helping me keep track of where the samples are coming from so I can properly attribute the authors when I (eventually) release some music software that will use the samples. It appears that file is procedurally generated from database data. It would be helpful if there was XML file that had the same data. This would allow my content pipeline to scan for these files and parse the contents to gather all the samples along with the attribution data so it can be more easily imported into the application. This is ultimately to make it possible to present the attribution to users at runtime when they go to that part of the UI. While the __details_and_attribution.txt file seems to be consistently formatted, well enough that I will just make a parser to use that for the time being, XML would be an improvement I'd like to see happen because it would make it a little more robust. I wonder, is there already a schema for CC attribution data that could be used? If not, a simple encoding of the same data into XML would be good enough for now.
