Hello folks!
We are reaching the 10th anniversary of Freesound moving to its current web address (and essentially becoming the Freesound we know and love.
https://freesound.org/forum/freesound-project/41031/
Celebrating that, I will be issuing 2 'special' dares.
This is the first one and is called "The Symphony of ..."
You are supposed to decide what "..." stands for and create a piece based on sounds you obtain from Freesound by searching your chosen word.
So, you could make The Symphoni of Monkeys, or the Symphony of Typewritters, or the Symphony of Crying Babies,...
The only rules are:
- you can only use sounds that you have obtained from Freesound searching for your chosen word. (This search word can actually be more than one word, as in the example above 'crying baby' is acceptable).
- Maximum length for your piece is 5 min.
Non-musical pieces can be uploaded directly to Freesound.
For musical pieces, please upload somewhere else (Soundcloud, CCMixter, Bandcamp...)
For all pieces, post a link on this thread.
There is no deadline.

Had alot of fun making this. Cheers!
