The sound of a watch alarm underwater at a crowded pool
I've been recording every storm that comes, but we haven't got a lot of them.
They are kept here: https://freesound.org/people/strangehorizon/packs/35651/
For context, StrangeHorizon was a very active member, both in uploads and in the forum.
They no longer agreed with the position of Freesound.org or lost hope in its developement, so deleted their account (I suspect).
So all sounds have also been removed. Including the storm ones
Sad to see em go and taking down their work, but respect their freedom to do so!
As for the topic.
I wish more people did geo-tagged (map) ambiance recordings.
If you go in "Map", there's a lot of cities/villages / areas with no ambiance sounds.
For example, to this day Papua New Guinea has nothing tagged in it. It would be nice to hear what the wildlife sounds like, or the streets of somewhere.
I think there could be more

I'm looking for a loopable rain of gold coins, for a custom background sound/menu on warcraft 3.
to go with the webm of mitsuha and the rain of gold coins from the anime Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement.
I have been trying to mix and duplicate several ones, but I can only make garbage with my skills lol.
Dear Fgjnghjghjghjgghmk,
I hope my hours were useful!
Sincerely.

A day of near silence in a small village without any hint of major construction work going on all round.
It needs to be of adequate volume to mask the sound of major construction work in a small village going on all round.
Caterpillars eating leaves, snakes yawning, whisker twitching of field mice or the footsteps of bank voles etc are all acceptable providing no single sound source dominates the ambience.
Must be loopable.
