Is it really true that once the sounds are up here under creative commons you can never sell them?
Not that I will probably ever get around to it, but I had thought of someday putting together a sample cd for sale.
If that is the case it should probably be mentioned clearly in the discription of the license. hock:

As for 'Not for sale...creative license...yah-de-yah'... the uploaded samples are freebies on the For Sale CD's

uploading someone else's files is not a good idea: your files will be linked to noisecollector's account, thus removing all trace of connection to you. Pretty bad from a commercial point of view.

Yeah, I'm sure we can arrange a reciprocal link.

I've just put up some samples onto the FreeSound Servers, they're one's I've not yet used on my site.

Blackstrobe, the files you added are "wav, 8000kHz, 64kbps, 8 bit, Mono"

I.e. compressed, 8bit, mono...

sorry, freesound doesn't handle compressed wavefiles.

I'm sure I can upload stuff each week when I update my site. I'll make sure it's all exclusive to FreeSound.
