Hi guys, I just came upon this place, and it looks like a really cool forum.
--a word about myself-- Mostly, I sample or create my own sounds, but lately I have been needing alot of sounds, for the anim I am currently working on. It takes place in a number of different settings, mostly in a city, with lots of traffic and crowds of people, and other noisy stuff.
I also perform and compose music, and often get very involved with the sample creation process, so I have a few good ones to share, and will always have new ones in the works. Other than softsynths, and other compuer software, I mostly use a microKORG and some other synths, and a RolandSPDS, which is a digital sampler / recorder / drum sequencer/kit.
I'm a pretty good violinist, so I'll try to make some unique violin samples. I use alot of strange techniques to get the tones I like on the violin, so probably fairly different from what you might expect.
Anyway, this looks like a pretty good, and healthy forum, so, glad to be here, I look forward to being a contributing member of this community.
