hey all, I'm fairly new to this. i have a couple things uploaded and already someone used my loops for a video online, lol.
I was wondering if any people, 1 or more is cool, would like to do some kind of song collaberation?

I've been looking for collaborating artists too. What kinda collab you talking abouts?

Music of course, but what kind would have to be something to discuss

Well then discuss away I'll collaborate, but I usually make: New-age electronica, Noise, A little minimal techno/trance, Experimental stuff of any kind. How do you want me to help out?

lol thanks, well elctronica is still techno trance hard house stuff, we could to it dj style and one person makes half the song them the other person makes the second half, or we could make one person do beats and the other riffs, which would you preffer?

no no no. You've gotta do it this way:

One person makes a bit of a song, mixes it down to audio and sends it on. the next person can add to that audio with another part, or manipulate it in any way they like and then it gets passed on. it could make an amazing piece or something truly terrible. i'll be happy to join in if its done this way!

hm...ok , how about this.
i'll take one of my already finished songs and send it, that way it willl really be a remix, then it could be passed down twice or so...sound slike a plan either way

Okay.

I'll make a TRACK - not a song - using zin, streety, and other freesound samples. Then, either of you can add your own track to it. After that we'll have at least three tracks, unless some other people want to help out too. Then anyone can remix the three new seperate tracks into another track, and so on, and so on.

When anybody finishes a track, we'll make a post in the 'your stuff made with freesounds forum'. By the way, let's stick to one post, if you're first to finish a track, you make the post. Then everyone posts links there to wherever their track is at. By the way, whoever makes the first post, explain it a little too

i was thinking more songs dude, like remixing songs..?

All the tracks put together to make a song. teamwork, I was thinking, like streety suggested.

thats not what streety suggested, besides.
i think you mean we should each make our loops for a song, but that would take so much longer thats why the idea of using one persons song, and remixing it, or getting one person to do beats the other riffs etcetc, is more sensible
