No FreeSound Downloading?!

...from slow downloading (3-4+ times the sample time length to download .wav files!) up to 25 October 2011 to no downloading 26 October 2011: click on the sound description, and the sound does not appear, only the download tab and a one second download if you download! I could continue to use my stream recorder. Stop the crap, continue to provide the free sounds you are obviously receiving major Institutional funding from highest Government Agencies to provide. I was surprised when I recently found many other higher quality free sound data bases: multisamples in fully audible 3D Surround sound Panorama Positions all above, below, and around you with resonance and vibrations you can feel like cell phone vibrations through speakers and not only your pro headphones!
I am having a similar experience. The "Upload Sounds" page only offers me an active link on the describe sounds button. The upload button is inactive (contains no link).
I did get a sound upload lost in the beta page stage of the new freesound, before we transitioned to here. So maybe the system thinks I have a file to describe before I can move on to m ore uploads? But the describe link leads me to a page where no files are shown, just the select all/deselect option which I click and there's nothing there to be affected.
It's not disabled, I don't think, but since you asked I tried using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox and IE does provide an active box for uploads. Thanks for the tip!
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems
It sounds though like errors on your end of the pipeline. I've never had any trouble with Freesound.org, my flash is always enabled and functional, my bandwidth and quality of connection is always decent and steady.
I am the thing that goes bump in the night...
