(( Hiyas! I use the sound editing software called Cool Edit 2000. Its pretty awesome!
I have a problem though, when attempting to make 'perfectly seamless looping sounds', (which i can do, np)
I SAVE the sound as an MP3... then I close the file or program... Re-open it and try to play it again
To my horror, all the sounds ive saved as Mp3 are no longer seamless loops!
The program automatically adds about 1ms of dead silence at the beginning and ending of the sound files, making a really annoying pause which breaks the loop and makes it look like im a noob who doesnt know how to make seamless loops lOL
I believe this problem is isolated to MP3 format, since WAV files do not get this 'automatic dead-air' at the leading and ending.
Can anyone help me and maybe advise me how to disable this annoying feature??
mp3 has a dataheader (silence in waveform) for metadatas and id-tags ...cya
