How do you post the same sample in multiple file formats (WAV, MP3, etc.) so that it's just counted as one sound, and people can decide which version they want to download?
Hi Mysticool.
its not currently possible and i dont really see a reason why this would need to be implemented. There is the preview (mp3) version that automagically gets created for all uploaded files. People can check if they like the file on offer using that. And then there is the download which naturally offers the original (highest quality) file available.
So basically, I should always upload files in WAV format. Is there any way to remove the MP3 sounds that I already uploaded and replace them with WAV's? Or should I just leave them and have two of each?
As administrator i can delete samples. So yes I could do that for ya.
edit: oh and btw, if given the choice we always prefer the higher quality stuff
Well, I'm going to upload the sounds in WAV format, so if you delete the originals it would be greatly appreciated. And from now on, I'll upload in WAV format instead of MP3.
nice one
