Probably still moderating 40 "4 minute" recordings of a dishwasher...
Or even a 100 minute full cycle of a washing machine! It happens - really. List mania maybe.
Seriously, it can take a couple of days for things to get moderated and then lots appear at once so sit tight. I had the same problem at first. Now my problem is my skin is too thin;
mkoenig,
remember I sent you an email about your files (and also replied on the forum). I was moderating your files and made a big error: seeing free-loops.com in the description I thought that the files were taken from a copyrighted collection of sounds.
see http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=12103#12103
A lot of people take files from websites and put them on freesound. From a copyright point of view this is dangerous (as most of those "free sounds" don't have a license compatible with Freesound). I assumed wrong!
Apologies (again), but as you can imagine, moderating 30K files isn't all that easy sometimes

Hot Dam... 30,000s files give me a headache just thinking about it :lol:
hey mkoenig,
you still need to describe those files... they're sitting in the FTP area, but as long as you don't describe them they won't be presented for moderating. And remember, when describing make sure you take good care of both tags and descriptions as it will speed up the moderation process (i.e. be as detailed as possible!)
