Hello, I'm a newbee trying to figure out how to get my submissions to show a remix alert and proper links into the remix tree. I have included the original sample numbers in my descriptions for the time being. Thanks! - bullockjs

Let me second this. I, too, always put remix-links in my descriptions. But when you're on the descriptions page (after uploading), you have the opportunity to choose your remix numbers from 2 drop down lists: the last 20 samples you've uploaded, and the last 20 you've downloaded. Question is: What if your remix samples were in the last 60? I saw no way of going further back...

And, does the remix tree automatically notify the original creators? I always notify by private message, but occasionally I forget.

i guess the best for now is to include a link to the original file in the description of the remixed

You could always just download the file again before you upload your remixed sample. Then it will be in the last 20 downloads, and so available for selection. :wink:
