We at MTG decided to organize the first freesound get-together on the first day of ICMC 2005 in Barcelona.

Time: Sunday 4th of September at 15.00

We'll give a short intro for those who have no clue what the get-together is about and then discuss the future / future features of freesound, mootcher, applications of mootcher, geotagging, field recording and any other funkie stuff we feel like talking about

Why not put together an over the WEB/Internet type deal like WWW.TAPEGERM.COM did...We exchange loops ect ...I am not sure how they did it but indications are it works...That seems to be more possible as most cannot make a "get together" or travel at all(prices/security/passports/ect) i think if TAPEGERM can do it( i think they are based out of SALT LAKE CITY,UT) then why not try it here or atleast see what we can all do!I thought Thats what the "web" was all about.......later Sleepless

@sleepless, this site is developed as part of the ICMC 2005 conference in barcalona. A lot of people in the music tech will be there and so also a few freesound users.
Perhaps we can setup a webcam there so you still witness it

yeah cool, a webcam (you can easily do broadcasts with windows media encoder or other free softs)! or just record the whole gathering and put it online afterwards, that would be smashing!
