It seems as if all audio from freesound is hidden behind a non supported UI when trying to access the through an iPhone...
It there a (simple) workaround available ?

strange... it *should* work just fine.
it's just a simple forward...- bram
it should, but it doesn't.
no buttons to click on
Bram
um, did the login work?
( upper left corner, you are logged in as XYZ )- bram
don't know.
it wasn't my iPhone.
so just checked the safari browser, wanted to play some nightingale on the iPhone...
as a visitor.

I'm confused now... Are you saying the site isn't working with safari?- bram
iPhone safari doesn't support flash/java, just javascript.
F
ah, that would explain.
I thought you were unable to DOWNLOAD from freesound....
Nothing we can do about this... The only thing would be to give access to the mp3 preview direct URL. I guess we could do this with some javascript.

My iPhone is not displaying the tracks, just a blank area on the track page. No buttons or playback options. Maybe because iPhone does not support Flash and freesound uses Flash?
Glad to know you can play freesound tracks on your iPhone. I sure would like to know how you do that
iPhone 3Gs using Safari

well maybe you should update your iOs?
I'm using a iPhone 4 with iOs5
but I recall it was also working with iOS4.
The soundfiles are not displayed with flash, since iPhone doesn't support flash at all and like I said, I use Freesound.org on iPhone with Safari all the time!
My iPhone is not Jailbreaked and I use the standard browser without any special apps or so.
I just checked, on android phone no problems. (just some extra info)
