Dear Moderator

You 'cleared' only 1 sample in a 37 sample multisample pack

couldn't the other 36 have been cleared at the same time?

Please explain, should they be cleared or are you wondering why that only one was cleared?
Unfortunately we can't clear or accept sounds all at once, but only 1 by 1.
Maybe a mistake was made.

I've waited a day for my sound to be processed and moderated. Who moderates, is it peer to peer? Also if my sound has not been processed in around 12 hours has there been a bug?

Not necessarily.
Here is a brief explanation of how it works:
once sounds have been uploaded and described they go onto a moderation queue.
Moderators pull sounds from this queue to moderate. They get all the souns from a user assigned to them.
Moderator then check each sound, the tags and descriptions and decide: a) approve, b) reject, c) need more info, contact the uploader.

The group of moderators are unpaid volunteers who moderate in their *free* time
Sometimes there are a lot of sounds being uploaded and not enough people to moderate. The queue could grow quite a bit. It is around 300 sounds at the moment.

@Alienxxx I think there is more going on. My sound (white listed user) is still in que sins Sept. 26, 2012, 5:29 p.m, and normally is online in a few minutes.

The sounds from sonicport seem to be missing, as would yours...
I am reporting this to the technical team.

Thanks AlienXXX, if I remember right I first had an upload failure message using Firefox and then using Safari I have reached this state; not processed yet, not moderated yet, in queue to be processed 27th September 2am. I changed the name of the file omitting spaces before uploading from Safari.

I uploaded the sound again as .wav and .mp3, we'll see how it goes. What is the format for tags because I can't make sense of it and need to review my data before it will work.

Ah I see! Okay I separated the tags with spaces last night anyway and that worked, I'm getting the hang of it now, just sitting on my log waiting for the water to carry me down-stream. Cheers.

Update from the tech team and myself:

Klankbeeld, the tech guys tell me your sound was 'pending to process'. It was stuck in a stage before it gets to the mod queue or, in your case since you are whitelisted, straight into Freesound.
I am told this was now resolved. Please check if the sound is now available. Thanks

Sonicport, just to clarify, the sound processing is:
user uploads sound -> user describes sound -> general mod queue -> mod pulls sound into his queue - > sound is accepted -> sound available at Freesound
The tech guys could not find any sound from you at all, not even waiting for description, not even 'pending to process'.
They believe the sound would have actually failed to upload properly. Sorry about that.
You have since re-uploaded and I have now moderated this sound.
