I have been asked on very short notice to find some opening music for a pre-show that will be broadcast over the internet. They expect it to be free, so that effects the places i can find it. Can anyone suggest good free instrumental music for an opening? I really need help here.
What kind of music? I'd be happy to send you some of mine - it's all Creative Commons licensed so you can use it for anything as long as I get credit.

I am a huge fan of Incomptech's Royalty Free Music collections. You can search by genre, keyword or general "feel" of the music (bouncy, driving, uplifting etc). All easily downloadable, all fairly good quality. Good luck!
