Ahoy! Freesound moderation?

I'm just posting (calmly) to say that It's been a little over a week since I uploaded a few files and I haven't seen them go out of moderation stage. Can one of the moderators explain why?

Lol it's like 4 moderators vs. like 1000 sounds? muhaha!
Kind of reminds me of when I get swamped by Emails at the end of the day and the next morning I have like 60 to read.

It varies a lot (and that is part of the problem). The mod team has more than 4 people, but we are all volunteers with families and day jobs. Sometimes maybe only 1 or 2 mods are activelly moderating.
uploads also vary a lot from say 20 to 200 samples a day...

Unfortunately, the moderation screen only shows user's names and how many sounds the user has on the queue.
It does not state when the sounds where uploaded.
A mod will pull all the sounds from a user to moderate, but if there are 100 users on the queue, often sounds that were uploaded later get picked first.
I have asked if the mod screen could be improved but the site admins have not had a chance of doing it yet.
Hi! I uploaded sounds, but I don't see anything like "moderate your sound" on my home page. What can I do?

'moderation' means someone else will review your sounds to make sure they are legal and have been well tagged and described.
This is not something you can do to your own sounds.
This thread is quite old, the moderation screen has been much improved since and sounds are now moderated in order of arrival. Usually takes a day or two for mods to either approve your sound or contact you with questions. Make sure you check your email.
