This website is great and I love the service you guys provide. If possible I would like to integrate freesound into a project I am currently working on. This would basically involve querying the freesound database from a flash interface and being able to audition samples (as mp3s) when selected. If the sample is used from there it would automatically be transferred to my own server to save on your bandwidth.

Obviously I would prominently display that your database was being used, and I would display the freesound logo linking to this site and encourage users to actively participate in what goes on here. All I would require is some sort of search API which could be called from a flash application. As long as it returned the ID and filename of the samples I could compile that information into the download links for the mp3's.

If this is not possible I will understand, I am just making a query.

this will probably be possible in freesound 2.0 ( see the blog for news ).

Right now it's a bit... difficult.
