Hey there talented sound folk!

I am into sound, too, except I am a musician, which is why I visit this fine site from time to time. In fact, here is a fun project I created a few years ago using some sounds from this site... this was a not-for-profit project, which was great fun for those who participated. My goal was to learn Sonar software and using a few hundred sounds worked out great.

Anyway, I have a new project in the works and I am looking for a specific sound to an original piece that involves fast movement down a highway. You can listen to the current draft below. What I think would sound great under the bass intro is a hefty V8 engine- low frequency gurgle (blub-blub-blub) followed by tires burning out as the tune takes off.

Here is a track i found here that's close, but too light on the low end, and the texture is a bit off for my ear, but it might give you an example so you might help point me to the right sound.

Thing is, after searching the site, I haven't found what I'm looking for, thought some of my fellow audio-files might help me find something suitable. HELP!
