uploaded a few sounds this week - waiting for moderation

I see that other new sounds have shown up since I uploaded but not mine..

is there a massive back log on moderating sounds?

just wondering is all.......

this is a continual question.

The moderators are all volunteers working in what spare time they have. Sometimes there are more sounds to moderate than others. Currently there are about 360 sounds.

Give a bit. They'll all (well, all the legal, appropriate ones anyway) will be pushed through the process.

fair enough... these are totally legally BTW- made em myself..

maybe they can consider a list of "trusted" contributors? make life a bit easier for people

I guess there are a fair few pro's here - who know what can and cant be put up?

(there are also an army of leeches...
I just love the comments you get from guys who have downloaded 13,000 sounds and not 1 upload!
but thats a different topic I think! its much better here now than it used to be - feedback and comments are more common! )

We actually have the system that you suggest, it's named "whitelisting".
The action of whitelisting a user is determined on different criteria, and the general conduct of said user.
