Yay for the sound ID to go over 200,000[fixed]!
And the winner iiis...

Although http://freesound.org/search/?q= I currently see "178,598"[fixed], which is probably because of removed sounds (whose IDs don't get re-used).
The 200,000[fixed] you notice by looking at the sound ID (number in URL of sound page).
The number of sounds in the index can be seen on search pages in the navigation element http://i.imgur.com/D4AY0Jf.png
Ok thanks, I understand now.
But don't you mean 200,000 (two hundred thousand)? or 200172 to be exact.
And I presume that the reason the ID and the actual number of sounds in the index differ is due to deletion or removal by admin of some files.

Users are able to delete their own sounds as well. Also who knows how many test sounds have been uploaded by admins over the years just to be deleted when the testing was finished?
178 547 sounds shows right now. The rest (difference from counter) seems to be rejected, lost, removed and system/upload errors/routines.
