Can I use sounds such as foot steps and possibly a few gun shots etc, to be feature AND SOLD on a music project?

You need to read the copyright license of each sample you want to use. Look on the right of the screen, below the sample waveform.
Most samples on freesound can be used commercially, but require attribution.
Some samples cannot be used commercially.
Some samples are CC0, which means they are public domain and can be used for ehatever you want, even without attribution.

We might be able to give you more advice if you can list all the sounds (full links to the sound pages) that you want to use and explain in more detail what the resulting project is supposed to be.

Sorry about my attitude though he practicality went to every thread and called the last person that posted a fag, he even went to my You Tube channel and called me and my brother a fag for no reason at all, we don't even know him and Thanks

No, No idea, this is the first time we've met and he says he knows me, the first time I saw him was on another thread, I was helping someone else with a sample request and he said your a fag 18hiltc and your sounds suck use my sounds instead of this faggot and he said he knows me. What a jerk. I at first thought he was new but I checked his profile and he has been a user for 5 years and something mouths, I think 8.

You know there is the possibility that you know this shady character in reality. It may be someone pulling a prank on you whom also doesn't mind ruining their reputation on here and risking the ban-hammer.

I know it's happened on other forums i've been in, on other websites.

Whoever it is, the behaviour is unacceptable in this forum, friend or foe.

Its possible because I use the same username for everything else I use (Its is also my school user names, created by the school year graduate,4 last letters of last name and then first letter of first name, I hope this isn't to personal) just the only thing I don't get is how did he/she know I have a profile on this website, I pretty sure they have know idea, some may know I have a profile on a sound website but they wouldn't know why what it would be called. This is just crazy.
