Just wondering if any of you guys have heard of this?

These guys are trying to raise some money on KickStarter to record loads of weapons with tons of high end mics and gear and then make all the resulting recordings entirely royalty free!!

Sounds amazing, they plan to record silenced shots and bullet impacts and everything, plus the minimum pledge on Kickstarter is only $1. This seems like an awesome project and definitely good if you like free sounds (which I can only assume most people here do )

Definitely worth at least a dollar if you ask me. Only 9 days left and could go either way at this point I reckon...

Should be pretty cool. I'm looking forward to checking the sounds out. While the gear they use is nice I wouldn't really call any of it high end.
