I think it would be really useful if a sound could be tagged as dry or wet.

Or perhaps processed/unprocessed.

That would be up to the user to tag it as such, but this is a really good suggestion.

tags already exist, are you suggesting something that could be easily seen in the sound's title or description?

I think it should be separate from the title and description, and be displayed below the file information (size, length, etc..)

I also think it should be required to mark it as either dry or wet, and of course next to it have a question mark of which you can hover over and display a quick explanation as to what dry and wet is for those that may not know.

well when i say near the title i mean that so people can easily see if a sound is wet or dry without clicking on the sound first then checking the file information. it would save a lot of time

Yeah I suppose that's true.

Currently i'm using a plugin to get rid of the added reverb on (way too many, btw) samples.
But obviously it's not the same and just eats up CPU.

I hope this suggestion gets considered.

Izotope RX 4 has a brilliant "De-Reverb" Plugin I use quite often. Some dry files would be better.
