Ahoy!
I don't know why, but this sound makes me weak at the knees. It's the sound of a German V1 Pulse-Jet engine. What you think?
WARNING: Very loud

A pulse detonation engine, or "PDE", is a type of propulsion system that uses detonation waves to combust the fuel and oxidizer mixture. The engine is pulsed because the mixture must be renewed in the combustion chamber between each detonation wave and the next.~ Wikipedia - Pulse Detonation Engine
It's a shame that the audio is quite distorted in that video. Yet it's the best one that I've come across (in terms of timbre)
