My wishlist changes all the time. That's why my New Year's resolution this time is to make time to go out and get tons of ambient sound from various places (restaurants, airports, streets, clubs, bars, hospitals, police stations, offices, etc). For anyone who is editing their own short film or feature, having usable ambient sound effects is really helpful.

I discovered people's need for ambient sound (over specialized sound effects) when the most popular sound I uploaded was "a murder of crows". All that was me recording a huge number of squawking crows in the trees behind my house. I thought nothing of it. I surely didn't need it for anything but I thought it was cool. But lots of folks used it and downloaded it. That's a great feeling to help other artists create new things.

So I ask. What is YOUR wishlist for sounds? Mine is always good quality ambient sounds of every day places for the purposes of documentaries and films.

aw man. I really want to visit mechanical workshops and factories to record their machinery. I dream of this.

More variety of engine sounds from normal/everyday cars would be nice even though I do those sounds. Machinery Running and appliances such as A/C, Microwave would be nice to have.

pray or some rituals recorded in Latin language.
