Hello. I been wondering what's the most efficient way to release sounds here.
Does naming samples with keywords make you easier to search than hashtags? etc
Hi there
The standard search algorithm includes search terms from the title description and tags, so you should always carefully choose a comprehensive title and expansive description, and also add as many tags as possible. This will increase the discoverability of your sounds because different people may use slightly differing search terms to find what they want.
This is all good practice, however, people have to need your sounds in the first place. There has to be some sort of demand present in order to get downloads for particular sounds. So don't be disheartened if you don't have much attention on your current sounds, just keep uploading and you'll see that some sounds are more popular than others.
I hope this helps
I would say tagging is important, and your description is not descriptive of the sound at all, and personally I think these types of descriptions that only say "check out my instagram..." shouldn't make it past moderation. Secondly, your sounds are fine quality-wise, but also not ones that everyone is looking for. I also find that if I upload several sounds at the same time, the last one will receive the most downloads while it is in the "recent addition" area. Look at what the most popular downloads are, both for the entire site and for the week. You can also look at the tag cloud to the right of the search results to see popular tags that are being searched for.
