Dear people.
For a project that involves generating natural soundscapes, I'm trying to lay out a rough categorisation of all sounds that can be found in nature. Something like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_sounds: screech, gargle, snort, bellow, hiss, etc. But I also want to include the sounds of plants, for example the rustling of tree leaves, the noise of reed, various water sounds, the squeaking of wood, etc. etc. Is any such index available? I imagine either sound designers of scientists have made such a framework.
Thank you!
Rutger
