Hi, I have been trying to upload a new sound. It's 595MB. This keeps failing, saying something went wrong. I did note that it would allow me to edit details, which I did on one occasion and the file was approved but it only had about 1.5 minutes of the 36 minutes that are on the file. I have tried two different browsers. I often upload much larger files for other reasons elsewhere with no issues. Any ideas? Thanks

Wow, that's some file! Hmm... You should be able to upload your file, you can upload up to a whole gig at a time. It may be your internet connection, if you have a low-speed line the server might time out when it can't upload within, say, ten minutes. If its ambiance you're trying to upload, you should be able to split it apart in audacity to a size that your system can handle. If it's a collection of sounds try uploading just a few at a time. That's pretty much all I have.

There is some sort of problem with the uploader I think, currently I can only upload files about 200mb at most or else it will fail. There is a thread about it somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Hopefully someday it will be fixed, I have many long files to contribute.
