Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone has created slow meditation music loops. Piano, something for rain, thunderstorms and the like. I want to create some loops for my middle school kids to listen to and chill while learning. Most of my students are ADHD kids and the music really helps but YT has the ads and I don't want the kids to hear those. I teach science so spacy sounds are okay, guitar or piano that is looped. I don't write or play music and don't want the synthesizer sound. just simple, slow relaxing melodies. I'm sending out this SOS. Thanks
I don't surf the internet without these addons in my browser

No malware , no ads 😊
They can make websites like YouTube slower to load,
but worth it to be spared the grab-a-granny "mature dating" imagery.
Hello matencio,
If it would help, I got around 60 pieces of relaxation music on my profile. Not all of them will be usefull for you because they are created with a synthesizer. But I got some spacy sounds, harp sounds and piano sounds as well. Here is an example: https://freesound.org/people/ShortRecord/sounds/521947/
You can check out my profile by clicking on my name.
Good luck with this project, I really like the idea for kids to have music while learning.
Greetings,
SR

I second the recommendations for adblockers. They're indispensible!
Most of the best material you'll find comes in the form of finished compositions, which are not meant to be uploaded on here. Here are some resources that will help:
mynoise.net - a site with various tone, noise, and soundscape generators. It has a lot of variety, and can dynamically mix the sounds, so you get a different soundscape even if you use the same settings multiple times. You can get very minimal, but still engaging sounds on here.
soundcloud.com - a site for musicians to upload their works. Many experimental musicians are on here, and a lot of them are making meditation-style music, myself included. This work is more intense and varied, but you may find something cool in here.
https://soundcloud.com/sonic_kitchen/sets/meditation-series-ambient - ambient improv by me
https://soundcloud.com/user-953152456 - Mila Drone, guitar drone artist
https://soundcloud.com/nobodisoundz/tracks - great ambient compositions
https://soundcloud.com/garyrees-composer/tracks - great inventive string music
https://soundcloud.com/user-489152969/tracks - ambient work
You will often be able to download the tracks you like, especially those of mine.
I can provide more recommendations, and more specific ones, with more info.
Since you're teaching kids science, you can always try the Minecraft soundtrack, too. Most kids (and even adults) like the music, it's minimal and good for productivity, and they'll think you're the coolest teacher for playing it!
