Long time user of freesound and love the platform with all my heart but please implement some way for us to directly reply to comments on our sounds.

This works for me:
https://freesound.org/people/Lost_Dream/comments/

with these settings you get e-mail as notification when you have got a comment:
https://freesound.org/home/email-settings/

But maybe you already know!

Don't know if I'm missing the intention of your request, but as well as following klankbeeld's useful hints you can;

Reply publicly by simply adding a new comment to your own sound.

or;

Reply privately by clicking their username and sending them a private message,

or;

Do both so they'll be aware of your new public reply.

Perhaps your asking to do the latter (both) with a single click?

Yep! It would be great if with a single click the user who commented would be notified of a response. I usually just send the user a PM but I think it would be easier to just reply on the thread and have them be notified that way.

I wish that get a notification from what I've followed user (like new uploads or posts).

I'm pretty sure you're asking for comments to be replied to directly in the comment thread, sending a notification to the person you are replying to, like how YouTube comments work for example.

I can assure you that this is a very common requested feature. As such, it's already in the long list of new features to implement in the future. I set up the ticket myself in github, it might make it into the next big frontend update or might not, but it will happen at some point in the future.

There's lot's that's being done behind the scenes all the time, so thanks for being patient
