If it's the descriptions I can change those wahhh im crying wahhh i want them to hear my sounddsss
Mod queue is a little on the slow side these days (summer time business?). Don't worry your sounds are in queue waiting to be checked!
Can take a week or ten days before a mod decides to handle a bunch of tickets at once.
Can always check each sound's "moderation ticket" and see if you missed a mod note in the event it was deferred. If not it's probably just still in queue "waiting to be assigned to a moderator" which you'll be able to see in the same panel.
Cheers and thank you for your patience.
12 days, sound still not approved..Why..?
Hello DJboutit,
The issue of moderation time comes up every now and then here at the forums, and we can understand why people get frustrated.
The explanation is always the same, and will continue to be the same for the foreseeable future:
The Freesound Moderators team are unpaid volunteers, we are spread across different countries and we have jobs and other activities to attend to.
Sounds usually take longer than 24h to be moderated. The average changes over time, but 3-4 days is a good estimate.
Sometimes it takes longer. The moderation queue is sequential, so it does depend on how many sounds are already in the queue ahead of you.
It also depends on how many moderators are available. As we have different jobs and live in different countries, it is not possible to coordinate, and sometimes many of us are unavailable to moderate at the same time and the queue gets longer...
All sounds do get listened to by a human before being approved. In case of questions or any issues (e.g. insufficient description) the Mod will contact you.
