I'm getting a "this file might be broken, please upload it again" message for an upload. Already tried it twice. File = 31119952 Bytes. Server reports the same file size. Is this a default warning for large files? I though FTP transfer is pretty robust?
FIXED
Hello Dstruct,
I had the same problema couple of days ago (curiously, also with a large file).
Bram suggested the file header might be damaged and that I should open the file on my editor and save it again. Then try uploading.
That solved my problem. Can you try that?
Ok, upload worked this time but now the desciption process doesn't work:
Attention! There were errors while adding your files! See below...
* Creeper.wav :: rename from /freesound/uploads/706101/Creeper.wav to /freesound/data/94/sounds/94506__Dstruct__Creeper.wav failed
FIXED
Hi Dstruct
I suspect the hack attempt on Freesound has caused some problems.
I suggest you keep a log of filenames, etc and wait until Freesound is back up and running normally.
If your problem has not disapeared by then, post again preferably on the "Bug Reports, Errors and Feature Requests" forum OR contact Bram directly.
Thanks for your patience.
