There seems to be an awful lot of SPAM getting through and hanging around than normal. Is there a problem with the site?

It seems to be a new form: a bigger than average post of mostly random gibberish with a few drug spam links embedded

A filter which includes drug names should still be able to block it though.

Since 99% of it is coming from one user name I would have thought it easier just to stop all posts (or moderate all posts) from that user!

They could just open another Freesound account with a different name.

It just occurred to me that a drug name filter could block legitimate posts with references to songs with drug names in titles or lyrics, e.g.

Only if they actually noticed their posts were making it through!

Other internet fora have a "report this post" button, so members can alert moderators to objectionable material who can then remove it promptly.

No doubt that faculty would be abused by persons trying to maximize their nuisance value, (maybe ration reports to X per person per day).
