Hello again! I just wanted to let you all know that I started an article about The Freesound Project on the english Wikipedia. I tried to give it a backbone that can be fleshed out easily through collaboration.
I would really appreciate if people with more familiarity with the details and history of the project (Bram especially) would fact-check the article and add whatever they see fit.
Thanks in advance, and keep on sampling!

Bram: Glad to hear you like it! Perhaps you can add some insider details about the history of the project or its technology base.
kelargo: You can link to the wikipedia article from other articles with this [[The Freesound Project]]
sorry to hijack - is that bram of SmartElectronix fame?
I didn't realise... now it makes sense: big up!!
edit: And is Anton aka Logicat?

Bram, I'm glad to see the article I started made the front page, but it doesn't seem to have encouraged anyone to work on it...
The thing is, I don't know that there are many people who know about a lot of the site processes and technologies that would make this article more informative. It may fall to you and/or people that have worked as a freesound admin or high-level collaborator to expand this article, or to at least point to more information.
P.S. Please excuse the thread necromancy (this was my fourth post- woah hock, but I figured this was better than starting a new one.
