Is there something I should know? I don't think any of those files formats can be opened with Reason, let alone Reason Synths!

I bet Reason isnt compatable with any of them. I'll try to find a formatter that'll change your formats to the supported ones. I use Fruity Loops and it pretty much only supports MIDI and WAV formats which really limits what i can download from freesound so i downloaded a formatter that changes mp3's to wav and wav to mp3.

Where in Reason are you trying to load the samples ?

In short you want to open with the sample browser button rather than tha patch browser button. And make sure they are .wav or .aiff files that are not compressed somehow.
